My name is Sophie Bland i am a wildlife photographer from th UK . My love for wildlife has been one that i have grown up with. I studied Zoo biology at university and my career has fallen across many wildlife platforms including hoofstock and carnivore zoo keeper, Rhino carer in a south african rhino orphanage and a number of other wildlife opportunities. Spending so much time in the bush you meet many people animals and individuals all working hard to save what we have left. You see things no human should ever have to in the face of the illegal wildlife trade. Photogrpahy has always given me a way to express my true love for animals and show them in a beauty that no everyone will ever get to see in their life times. As well as this i believe photography is very powerful tool to tell the stories of conservation and connect those who are disconnected from what is truly happening on the ground to the real life stories of animals. Now i would like to be abe to give back to wildlife in just a small way by giving percentages of my print sales to well deserved wildlife charities.
